Description: The State of Utah Division of Purchasing, through the Division of Wildlife Resources and in conjunction with the Bureau of Land Management’s Richfield Field Office and TLA State Trust Lands, is soliciting an IFB from prequalified contractors for lop and scatter services across approximately 3,835 acres in the Henry Mountain area. The contractor will hand-cut standing live or dead pinyon pine and juniper trees and lop and scatter the resulting slash in accordance with the specified height, length, and erosion-control requirements. The contract period is October 1, 2026, through November 30, 2027, with 1,500 acres due by May 1, 2027 and no cutting permitted from May 1 through July 1 because of migratory birds; the solicitation anticipates a single award to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible vendor.
