Summary
A key requirement is to provide uniquely qualified faculty in support of USNCC educational programs. Faculty shall maintain professional proficiency and can be evidenced by a program of personal scholarly advancement. Evidence of professional qualifications and experience (e.g. publications, professional memberships, credentials) shall be provided upon request by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) (or designee). Faculty will be provided with the core shell for the respective course(s) they have been assigned. The course core shell includes instructional materials, core lectures, assignments, rubrics, and threaded discussion topics. Faculty may supplement core materials (no more than 10-15%) with current events and/or relevant past
experiences. Faculty shall teach no more than two (2) courses per term, following an initial term of one course for evaluation purposes (terms are Fall I, Fall II, Spring I, and Spring II, Summer) without pre-approval of the USNCC Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) (or designee). All contractor personnel shall be either academically qualified (AQ) or professionally qualified (PQ), in accordance with USNCC’s Faculty Handbook. See attached file.
