Summary
DESIGN-BUILD: Qualified firms for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of an MSC-owned, ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system to be installed at Penn Farm, adjacent to the Commission's Water Treatment Plant. The existing site hosts a 25kW ground-mounted solar array. Two new solar arrays are to be installed on the site. The minimum kW value for new solar arrays is to be 60kW (AC), and additional consideration will be given to proposals which max out the kW within the available footprint. The new solar panels shall feed new inverters located on grade (provided by the contractor as part of this project). The contractor shall provide all foundations, racking, etc. in order to accommodate the new equipment. Each of the new inverters will homerun back to a new panelboard (panel PP2, to be provided by the contractor as part of this project) located on grade adjacent to existing panelboard PP1. Panelboard PP2 shall be fed directly from the existing utility meter.
