Seeking a contractor to provide inspection services of multiple underground storage tanks (UST) and above ground storage tanks (AST).
AvailableThis project includes testing of underground and above ground fuel storage tanks, as well as demolition of underground tanks, testing requirements and installation/modification of fuel tank monitoring equipment. The contractor shall initiate testing upon receiving notice to proceed, covering "3 year" tests for underground storage tanks (ust) and "5 year" tests for above ground storage tanks (ast) as specified. Tasks include tank tightness tests, automatic tank gauging functionality, hydrotesting and cleaning of tank sumps and spill containments, and testing overfill valves. Daily cleanup and restoration of work areas to original conditions are mandatory. Comprehensive reports outlining deficiencies, failures, and necessary actions for deq compliance, along with cost estimates for corrective measures, are required. For ust demolition, five diesel tanks shall be excavated, removed, and the site restored, including handling and disposal of contaminated soils and tank materials. Necessary permits, dewatering, shoring, and other expected underground excavation costs must be included in the proposals. See attached file.
