The Ohio Department of Transportation (DriveOhio), in partnership with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), is soliciting proposers to deploy Level 4 automated driving systems (ADS) on commercial vehicles as part of the I-70 Truck Automation Corridor project, with data collection and performance evaluation requirements. The program is funded by a U.S. DOT ATCMTD grant and plans approximately $2 million in awards that may be distributed across multiple deployers; period of performance requires data collection be completed by November 30, 2026. Proposers must meet technical/system requirements (Appendix A), coordinate with DriveOhio/INDOT on data sharing and public relations activities, and comply with state truck automation laws during operations.
