This is a Sources Sought notice for an overhaul contract on the 474 Engine Paint Line Conveyor L6050 at Anniston Army Depot (Anniston, AL). Responses must be submitted through the Department of Defense PIEE Solicitation Module; email responses will not be accepted. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all labor and parts to perform the following overhaul, repair, replacement, installation and fabrication tasks and modifications for the 474 Engine Paint line: a. Replace the conveyor chain, drive chain, rollers, bearings, and turn-wheels with new hardware, parts, and components. b. Remove and replace the inclined/declined portion of the conveyor track with a straight section of track as well as all supporting structures and braces utilizing Engineering certified load bearing requirements. (Each conveyor carrier capacity is required to be able to transport up to 3500lbs, and there are 9 carriers.). c. Ensure equipment switches, paddles, carriers and fixtures are transferred to the new straight section of track and appropriate adjustments made to ensure working order. d. Repair or replace automatic lubrication system and bring back to working order. See attached file.
