The Department of Veterans Affairs (VISN 2: New York/New Jersey VA Health Care Network) issued a Sources Sought to identify suppliers who can provide, install, calibrate, and commission NIST-traceable pressure differential probes and temperature sensors for isolation rooms at the Margaret Cochran Corbin VAMC, Manhattan Campus. The work includes delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and training for specified quantities of sensors and transmitter installation kits. Responses are for market research/planning only (FAR 15.201(e)) and may lead to a future solicitation.
Pre-Installation Activities: On-site walk-through with VA Engineering & Infection Control. Inspect existing systems and determine necessary replacements or new installations. Verify integration requirements and mounting/wiring needs. Installation Activities: Install pressure differential probes and temperature sensors. Replace faulty sensors as identified. Install analog transmitter assemblies. Ensure compliance with VA standards, ASHRAE 170, and ICRA protocols. Calibration & Commissioning: Perform full NIST-traceable calibration. Test alarms, BAS integration, and pressure performance. See attached file. - Provide commissioning report to VA Engineering.
