Work to be performed under this Contract includes demolition and disposal of the existing 2-million-gallon abovegrade welded steel water storage tank, followed by construction of a new AWWA D110, Type III wire-wound, prestressed concrete water storage tank. The new tank will have an inside diameter of 119' and a high-water depth of 36', providing a total capacity of 3 million gallons. Construction of the new tank will include demolition of existing infrastructure, modifications to existing utilities, installation of new water lines and valves, and all associated earthwork.
