Citywide Drainage & Paving
AvailableSeeking qualified asphalt paving companies, acting singularly or in consortium, for road paving projects in the town. All existing pavements will be reclaimed to a minimum depth of eight inches (8") followed by regrading of the roadbed to attain a crown of two and a half percent (2. 5%) or a quarter inch (0. 25") per foot. Prior to beginning reclaiming, excess shoulder materials will be removed where at, or higher than, existing pavements to accommodate grading work and the addition of loam upon completion of paving. Roadbeds will then be watered and compacted to ninety-five percent (95%) compaction, which the town may opt to test prior to paving. All shoulders should then again be cleaned of excess material to allow for placement of four inches (4") of screened loam. See outside link.
