The scope of work covers removal, replacement, and installation of pump guide rail assemblies, pump discharge connections, gate valves, check valves, access hatch hinges, and lockable lift handle assemblies at Lift Stations #1 and #2. Upgrades to the existing lift station. The upgrades consist of installation of three new pumps along with new piping, isolation valves, check valves, and other piping appurtenances. It includes demolition of the building roof and a portion of the building shell to expose the existing wet well and then construction of a new roof over the remaining portion of the building (control room / dry well), as well as a new concrete slab (with access hatches) constructed over the wet well. The upgrades include installation of all new electrical equipment, and panels, an automatic transfer switch, a generator, interior and exterior lighting, a control panel, instruments, and all electrical and control appurtenances. Also included are new HVAC equipment, duct work, and plumbing elements. Finally, the upgrade includes site improvements such as an asphalt driveway, permanent and removable bollards, sidewalk, and a new fence around the generator and grade mounted HVAC equipment. All other scope items contained within or implied by the contract drawings and specifications are included in the overall project.

Work consist of construction of site-built cast-in-place lift station concrete structure and associated masonry, site excavation, dewatering, shoring, forming, grubbing, grading, paving, and restoration pertinent, installation of mechanical piping, valving, force mains, to and from the lift station, installation of mechanical piping, valving, force mains internal to the lift station, installation of fusion welding (HDPE), electrical work and connections to the lift station, and all internal electrical components of the lift station, installation and integration of communications, electrical controls, SCADA devices internal to the lift station, and external from the lift station.
