Description: The New York City Police Department intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Rigaku Americas for the manufacture and delivery of one Rigaku MiniFlex 6G Benchtop X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) Instrument. The instrument will be used by the Police Laboratory’s Criminalistics Section to analyze, compare, and identify components in tape, chemical unknowns, and explosives. Other vendors who believe they can provide the instrument are invited to submit an expression of interest through PASSPort by the stated deadline.
