Summary
Specifically, the objectives are to: Identify coal workers’ beliefs, attitudes, informational needs, and decision-making factors related to black lung screening, CWHSP participation, and perceptions of LDCT. Assess awareness, experiences, and trust related to chest radiography and LDCT, including perceived benefits, risks, barriers, confidentiality concerns, and preferred communication channels. Develop and refine evidence-informed communication strategies and message concepts that address priority beliefs, improve clarity and trust, and support informed participation in CWHSP and LDCT screening.
