The grant, funded by the Regional Early Action Planning Grants Program of 2021 (REAP 2.0) through the California Department of Housing and Community Development, supports a project focused on lasting affordability. The MOU details the scope of work, sub-recipient responsibilities, project management, funding terms (including grant funds and match contributions), invoicing as a lump sum agreement, reporting requirements, accounting standards, allowable uses of funds, work product ownership, amendment procedures, notice provisions, insurance requirements, indemnification, dispute resolution, non-compliance remedies, termination clauses, records retention, monitoring and audit protocols, and various legal and regulatory compliance obligations, including public works and anti-discrimination provisions. The agreement is effective until the completion date, which is no later than December 31, 2026.
