This ordinance authorizes the City Manager of Sandusky, Ohio, to enter into a five-year agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. for the purchase and installation of replacement audio and video recording systems for two interview rooms at the Justice Center, designated for the Sandusky Police Department. The total cost of the agreement is $59,434.26, to be paid in annual installments from Calendar Year 2023 through 2027.

The City of Sandusky and Millennium Operations LLC d.b.a. Cedar Point have entered into a Services Agreement for law enforcement and police services. The Sandusky Police Department will provide two police officers and additional supplemental coverage to Cedar Point during its operating seasons, with the term running from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2028. For the 2023 operating season, Cedar Point will compensate the City a total of $529,185.58. Compensation for future operating seasons will be based on annually reevaluated rates.

This Enterprise Zone Agreement between the City of Sandusky, Ohio, and LEWCO Inc. incentivizes LEWCO's $7,587,500 manufacturing expansion project at 706 Lane Street. The agreement, effective December 15, 2025, and extending benefits until 2035, grants LEWCO a 10-year, 75% real estate tax abatement on property improvements. In return, LEWCO Inc. commits to creating 38 new full-time jobs by December 31, 2028, adding approximately $2.7 million in annual new payroll, and paying an annual monitoring fee.
