Women in Forest Management Conference

The second annual Women in Forest Management Conference is a gathering designed to advance, connect, and inspire professionals across forestry and natural resources. The 2027 theme is 'Beyond the Canopy: Growing Leadership, Connection and Influence'. The conference aims to empower and connect women and their supporters, emphasizing the need for a more inclusive industry that values women's unique perspectives, especially given workforce shortages. It addresses cultural, behavioral, and institutional challenges faced by women, who comprise less than 20% of the forestry workforce.
