The Government Treasurers' Organization of Texas (GTOT) Winter Seminar 2026 is an annual conference designed for government treasurers, chief financial officers, and investment officers from local governments, state agencies, and institutions of higher education. Key focus areas include the U.S. banking system, the application of synthetic intelligence in financial practices, intricacies of public funds investment under the Texas Public Funds Investment Act, updates on Local Government Investment Pools (LGIPs) and arbitrage rebate, best practices in investment policy and governance, optimizing payment acceptance strategies, economic outlooks, AI and fraud prevention, rating agency perspectives on Texas credit, leveraging comprehensive banking services, effective investment reporting and analysis, identifying current market investment opportunities, navigating the cyber landscape for government and treasury leaders, electronic resources for investing, and strategic treasury solutions. Attendees are eligible to earn up to 14 hours of continuing education credits, including PFIA, CPE, CGFO, and TASBO CEU credits.
