About this conference
The Winter Conference is a four-day event, including a specialized orientation for newly elected officials, scheduled to be held at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Hotel in Cambridge, MD. It attracts nearly 1,000 county and state elected and appointed officials. Educational sessions are designed to address timely issues pertinent to the upcoming Maryland General Assembly Session. The conference also features regional county meetings, state agency briefings, Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) committee and board meetings, and opportunities for academy credit courses. Additionally, 70 tabletop exhibits are on display.
