This conference seeks sessions focused on the broad theme 'Investing in you, investing in us, investing in Minnesota'. Topics include supporting and incentivizing entrepreneurship, leadership and professional skills development, tools to advance community development (e.g., TIF, LAHA, bonds, grants), technological advances and their impact on economic development (e.g., AI, cybersecurity), the intersection of economic development with housing and workforce development, with climate change and environmental justice, challenges and opportunities in small communities, and interorganizational/intergovernmental cooperation and partnership. Sessions typically consist of 45 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of open question & answer.
