About this conference
As the 2026 Legislative Session begins, education leaders from across Washington state are invited to a high-energy, solutions-focused conference. This event aims to amplify their voice in Olympia and prepare for the 2027–29 biennium. Recognizing current budget constraints, the conference emphasizes uniting to strengthen collective impact and secure necessary resources for Washington’s students and schools. Attendees will engage in dynamic sessions and hands-on breakouts to gain clarity on pressing issues such as MSOC, levy equalization, unfunded mandates, education reform, and student growth. They will acquire strategic tools, including data-driven storytelling, dynamic talking points, and advocacy mapping, and establish direct connections through student perspectives, principal insights, and legislator engagement. The conference promises action-ready outcomes, including a district-designed legislative plan and a resource packet to facilitate meaningful conversations within districts and with lawmakers. This is an opportunity to sharpen advocacy skills, collaborate with colleagues, and build momentum for significant change in 2026 and beyond, actively shaping the future of education in Washington.
