UCOWF 53rd National Training Conference

The United Council on Welfare Fraud's 53rd National Training Conference focuses on the latest developments in fraud prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution within public assistance programs. It offers 18 hours of training workshops on public assistance fraud issues, ranging from front-line investigations to effective program administration, fraud recovery, and collection techniques. Attendees will have opportunities to network with peers from across North America, choose from twelve specialized workshop sessions led by subject matter experts, and engage directly with Federal program officials. The conference also includes certification testing for Certified Welfare Fraud Investigator (CWFI), an annual Awards Luncheon, a Welcome Social and Ice Breaker, the annual UCOWF membership business meeting, and regional elections. Vendors will also exhibit products and services relevant to fraud detection and investigation. This event aims to strengthen investigative networks and protect vulnerable citizens and taxpayers by addressing continuing and emerging trends in public assistance fraud that affect county, state, and provincial budgets.
