About this conference
The symposium is co-sponsored by the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) and Loyola Marymount University's Center for Catholic Education. Join with experts and colleagues at this 24th annual symposium to learn about the latest information on the law as it applies to Catholic education and ministry. This symposium serves all levels of Catholic school administration: diocesan superintendents, principals, teachers, religious education programs, as well as emerging school leaders. It addresses current issues in school law, possible future issues, and practical strategies with colleagues and experts. Keynote and breakout sessions will cover topics such as AI, crisis management, immigration, federal scholarship tax credits, legally sound handbooks, athletics, personnel issues, grants, fundraising, special education law, policies addressing bullying, and legal concerns with difficult staff and parents. It will also include legislative updates on government programs and public policy.
