The Right Connection: CENIC 2026

CENIC's annual conference, "The Right Connection," is designed by and for the CENIC community, which includes public and private research universities, public libraries, science and cultural institutions, technology businesses, healthcare, and public policy and government. Attendees can expect to network with colleagues, participate in engaging presentations, share insights, discover collaboration opportunities, and witness demonstrations of cutting-edge technology. The conference will feature noted experts discussing innovations supporting vibrant and diverse California research and education communities, and new strategies for ensuring equitable access to secure high-speed broadband across all California communities. Key topics include state-of-the-art and future network technologies (including wireless), innovative applications in teaching, research, and public engagement, digital literacy and fluency, cybersecurity and privacy protection, and new statewide, national, and global collaborations in research and education. The event also includes a CENIC Technical Advisory Meeting.
