About this conference
The Briefings Symposium in Glen Ellyn, IL, scheduled for April 14th-15th, 2026, offers actionable insights, real connections, and lasting impact, focusing on the implementation of the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) and Standard Reunification Method (SRM) in school communities. Over two days, attendees will engage in immersive learning, share insights with peers, and forge meaningful connections, all with the shared goal of creating safer schools and communities. The symposium brings together leaders, practitioners, change-makers, and explorers to exchange actionable ideas. It centers on the physical, social, and emotional safety of students, staff, and the community, discussing how to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. Day 1 features keynote sessions on the Foundation's origin, program outcomes, and social/emotional safety. Day 2 provides in-depth classroom training on SRP and SRM to translate ideas into action.
Sponsorship options
The "I Love U Guys" Foundation offers "Training and Event Underwriting" and "Mission Partner" opportunities. Training and Event Underwriting provides funding to offset the costs of onsite training, keynotes, and debriefings for organizations that would otherwise be unable to afford them, with gift levels ranging from $7,500 to $50,000. Mission Partners commit annually and receive benefits such as acknowledgments in training engagements, prominent company logo display on the Foundation's website, a dedicated webpage highlighting the partnership, opportunities for speakers in webinars/podcasts, hosted trainings, and two registrations to each Briefings Symposium with allocated partner table space for materials.
