About this conference

The Office for Faculty Success is pleased to announce the return of the Graduate Conference on Research, Scholarship, and the Arts, which will be held in person on Thursday, November 5, 2026. We invite proposals from students in master’s and doctoral programs across all disciplines. Students are encouraged to submit abstracts at any stage of their graduate program, particularly those in the early stages of research. The Graduate Conference provides an excellent opportunity for emerging scholars to share their work, receive feedback, and engage with peers and faculty across disciplines. Presenters will have the option of delivering either a five-minute PowerPoint presentation or participating in the poster session. Each presentation will be followed by questions and conversation to encourage dialogue and feedback. Students are expected to submit slides or posters to support their presentations. We encourage our graduate students to consider how to effectively communicate their ideas to a general audience. Eligibility requires submissions from any graduate-level students at the College of Staten Island, reflecting original research, disclosing any use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and conducted at least partially after August 2025.
