The 2026 LEAD Conference, scheduled for February 27–March 1 in Washington D.C., is the premier national leadership event hosted by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) for members of the National Honor Society (NHS), National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), and National Association of Student Councils (NASC). This conference brings together over 2,000 student leaders and their advisers from across the country. Attendees will connect with inspiring peers, hear from nationally recognized keynote speakers, and participate in over 60 workshops designed to foster leadership skills, facilitate powerful conversations, and provide fresh ideas applicable within their schools. Advisers, school leaders, and teachers also engage in professional development and networking to support student growth and leadership. The event aims to equip participants with essential life skills such as public speaking and problem-solving, enabling them to lead real change.
