The TACCHO Annual Premier Public Health Conference provides the opportunity to showcase public health practices that improve the health of the community. Its primary purpose is to improve state and local health department practices to plan and implement public health programs, policies, and system changes that will ultimately enhance community health. The conference sessions are designed to increase awareness of factors impacting public health, foster an understanding of how core concepts build a strong public health infrastructure, and develop practical skills for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health practices. The overarching theme for the 2026 conference is 'Texas Public Health Sustainability = Infrastructure & Innovation'.
