Southeastern School Behavioral Health Conference

The 2026 Southeastern School Behavioral Health Conference is a hybrid event focused on advancing student well-being through collaborative, school-based practices. It promotes effective school behavioral health practices operating within schools' multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) to foster positive social, emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning of all students. The event will feature keynote presentations and more than 50 breakout sessions for in-person attendees, with virtual attendees invited to livestream all keynotes and multiple concurrent breakout sessions. Key objectives include building evidence-based practices and interventions across all tiers of the MTSS, developing a well-trained and credentialed School Behavioral Health (SBH) workforce, enhancing community partner, family, and student leadership, promoting cross-system collaboration with youth-serving agencies, and improving programs and services for students of all abilities. The work of the SSBHC has been bolstered by a grant from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
