About this conference
The fifth Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Conference, hosted by the University of Northern Iowa's College of Education, aims to promote the social, emotional, and behavioral health of children and educators while advancing equity and excellence in education. The conference will feature keynote speaker Stephanie M. Jones, PhD, from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and guest author Susan Verde, a New York Times bestselling children's book author. The schedule includes a full slate of breakout sessions and will be held on UNI's campus with an online option for keynote and author talks at a reduced rate. UNI faculty, staff, and students can attend for free. CEUs are available for social workers and educators upon request.
