About this conference
The SoCal Hazmat Conference 2026 is a premier training and networking event bringing together hazardous materials professionals, emergency responders, and public safety leaders from across Southern California for a full day of expert-led training, peer networking, and hands-on exposure to the latest hazmat technology and equipment. The conference features keynote speaker Dr. Christina Baxter, along with industry-leading educators The HazMat Guys and Phil Ambrose of HazMat Nation and HazSim, and subject matter experts from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES). Participants can attend technical sessions on emerging hazmat threats, response strategies, and statewide coordination updates. A vendor show will highlight the latest equipment and solutions. This event offers valuable networking opportunities for responders to sharpen their skills, connect with regional leaders, and stay ahead of evolving threats. Attendees will experience live HazSim training demonstrations and explore the latest in hazmat detection, response, and safety technology.
