About this conference
The Smithsonian Science Education Leadership Summit is an annual national initiative designed to engage K-12 school, district, and state leadership teams across the U.S. Teams participate in a highly interactive, multiday summit focused on developing and implementing strategies to improve the recruitment and retention of skilled K-12 STEM educators. Attendees will receive tools to create district-specific action plans, develop logic models for systemic change, and benefit from long-term support from mentors, coaches, and advisors. The overarching goal is to strengthen the K-12 STEM teaching workforce and enhance leadership opportunities for educators.
