About this conference
School Library Journal’s 2026 Summit, hosted this year at the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, West Las Vegas Library Branch, will give attendees the opportunity to gather with school and district librarians, library leaders, and K–12 administrators. The event focuses on learning and sharing ideas with those who understand the work of raising the stakes for every student served. The Summit will be built around three programming pillars: Engaging, Innovating, and Leading. Key topics for discussion include intellectual freedom, the impact of artificial intelligence on finding, evaluating, and using information, and the ongoing debate surrounding the value of school libraries.
