SCONA 72 Rules of the Game: Power, Pressure, and the Pursuit of Stability 2027

The 72nd Annual MSC Student Conference on National Affairs is a premier collegiate conference that equips delegates from across the country to engage with the United States’ most pressing challenges. Titled “Rules of the Game: Power, Pressure, and the Pursuit of Stability,” the 2027 conference will examine the United States’ evolving role in a changing world order—how global actors use power to reshape norms and rules to their advantage, and how the U.S. is adapting its national strategy and instruments of power to respond to emerging challenges. Held February 10–13, 2027, the conference brings together students from the nation’s military academies and leading universities to learn from and interact with prominent scholars, government officials, and industry leaders. Delegates will develop policy proposals addressing critical national issues, which will be evaluated in a policy competition.
