About this conference
Hosted by the Texas School Safety Center at Texas State University, the Say What! Conference offers a variety of opportunities for youth groups in grades 6-12 working on tobacco prevention related issues, tobacco-free policies, and other projects that may be occurring in the school or community. Youth participants can attend a variety of breakout sessions led by Say What! Teen Ambassadors, program staff, Say What! Member Groups, and experts from diverse fields. Youth groups also choose a project to plan while at conference to help educate and empower their peers and community members to live nicotine-free lives. Sponsors of youth groups and other adult participants can attend sessions that focus on developing teen leaders, maximizing a youth group's efforts, challenges and successes from other group sponsors, emerging products, the best way to get involved in the Say What! movement, and more. Register a youth group to attend the top youth conference in the state where they'll gain new leadership skills and learn how to use those skills to create the first tobacco, nicotine, and vape-free generation!
