About this conference
The SAPTA Working Group, comprised of public and private sector investigators from the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI), is dedicated to safeguarding terminals from both physical and logical attacks. This annual working group meeting convenes SAPTA members and subject matter experts globally to discuss new trends, devices, techniques, and successful case studies concerning payment terminal crimes and associated criminal organizations. It is explicitly designated as a meeting, not a training event, and is intended for subject matter experts and investigators routinely involved in skimming and access device fraud investigations. Key topics include public/private sector relationships, collaboration, success stories, law enforcement case studies, Fuel Pulsar Tampering, EMV Relay Attacks, technical threat updates and emerging trends, ATM jackpotting trends, and the landscape of ATM/POS/Gas Pump skimmers and organized crime groups.
