Risky Business Seminar

The Risky Business Seminar is an annual event organized by the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA) for its School Boards Insurance Trust (SCSBIT) member districts. The seminar focuses on empowering risk management through programs and strategies designed to reduce workplace accidents and other liabilities. Attendees will gain insights into critical topics such as school safety, emergency preparedness (including the Standard Response Protocol and Standard Reunification Method), cyber risk, and essential training requirements. The event aims to provide practical ideas and motivation for effective risk management within school districts, addressing both property & casualty and workers' compensation concerns.
