RCD Leaders Institute

The RCD Leaders Institute provides an opportunity to network with RCD Schools and learn best practices for strengthening a Responsibility-Centered Culture. Participants will join Larry Thompson, creator of Responsibility-Centered Discipline, and RCD teams from schools nationwide to share strategies for improving student-teacher communication and empowering students to take accountability for their behavior. The Institute will cover overcoming typical challenges in RCD implementation, the role of School Foundations, best practices for onboarding new hires, structuring In-School Solutions, and developing and monitoring coaching skills in staff. Designed for Principals, Assistant Principals, and RCD Implementation Team members, this immersive event helps educators move beyond traditional, time-based discipline practices toward coaching students to think, communicate, and take ownership of their choices. Collaborative discussions will address challenging student behaviors, special education considerations, administrative oversight, and using RCD Connect for ongoing support.
