Personal Property Activity Industry Day Synopsis and Registration for Third Party Insurance and Claim Adjustment Services for Household Goods 2026

The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), operating under the Department of Defense, has issued a Special Notice announcing an upcoming Industry Day focused on Third Party Insurance and Claim Adjustment Services for household goods. Organized by the Personal Property Activity (PPA), this event aims to engage commercial partners with specialized capabilities in providing insurance and independent claims adjustment solutions related to the packing, shipping, storage, and delivery of household goods. The primary purpose is to facilitate dialogue between USTRANSCOM and industry stakeholders, identify market capacity for comprehensive third-party insurance and claims adjustment services, and gather information on industry best practices and innovative solutions. The event will include both written responses and opportunities for one-on-one meetings with PPA representatives to present qualifications, discuss service offerings, and address questions.
