About Vermont Emergency Management
Vermont Emergency Management (VEM) is Vermont’s state emergency management agency (part of the Agency of Public Safety) that organizes and hosts an annual Vermont Emergency Preparedness Conference and runs statewide emergency management programs, trainings, EMD certification, exercises, and resources for first responders, public safety, and local emergency management directors. VEM’s conference agenda and materials show sessions for municipal incident planning, FEMA public assistance, hazardous materials, first responder resilience, and LEPC updates—demonstrating strong relevance to law enforcement/public-safety/emergency-management conference needs.
