University Industry Demonstration Partnership Inc

UIDP (University Industry Demonstration Partnership, Inc.) is a solutions-oriented, member-driven nonprofit that supports mutually beneficial university–industry collaborations by developing and disseminating practical strategies and resources. Its membership comprises leading research universities, major commercial R&D organizations, federal agencies/national labs, and industry partners who collaborate through conferences, projects, and working groups. Recent notable activities include administering the NSF-funded Engineering Research Visioning Alliance (ERVA), running the HBCU Engage initiative (HBCU Engage 2025 convened 100+ organizations), and completing its transition to an independent nonprofit organization (2015), all reflecting UIDP’s role in strengthening and modernizing university–industry partnerships.
