Transportation Research Board (TRB)

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) is a unit of the U.S. National Academies that convenes transportation professionals and produces major conferences and technical meetings. TRB organizes the large annual TRB Annual Meeting, which covers all transportation modes and attracts thousands of professionals, including government transportation agency staff. It also hosts national conferences, such as the National Conference on Transportation Asset Management, and other topic-specific conferences and workshops like the International Conference on Low Volume Roads. These events feature sessions, workshops, and exhibit/patron opportunities, drawing attendees from public agencies (state DOTs, city transportation/public works staff), researchers, industry, and vendors.
