Texas Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Association

The 13th Annual Texas Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Association Conference focuses on improving responses to mental health crises by bringing together law enforcement professionals, first responders, mental health experts, community advocates, and concerned citizens. The conference aims to address the intersection of mental illness and the criminal justice system, promoting dialogue, understanding, and effective strategies for change. Attendees can participate in workshops and networking events, sharing knowledge and best practices on topics such as threat assessment and management, program development and implementation, mental wellness, and community impact. The 2027 theme is 'One Team. One Mission. Advancing CIT Across Texas', and welcomes expertise in areas including law enforcement, behavioral health, dispatch, EMS, corrections, youth CIT, threat assessment, peer support, veterans, first responders, and community partnerships.
