State Educational Technology Directors Association

SETDA (State Educational Technology Directors Association) is the principal association representing U.S. state and territorial educational technology and digital learning leaders. Its mission is "to build and increase the capacity of state and national leaders to improve education through technology policy and practice," and its membership includes all 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, Department of Defense schools, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. SETDA conducts research, shares best practices, and recognizes state leadership through programs such as the annual State Achievement Awards and State Leader/Policymaker of the Year recognitions (2025 recipients noted on its site).
