Special Districts Association of Oregon

The SDAO Annual Conference, held from February 9–12, 2023, at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon, is the annual event organized by the Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO). It targets special district board members, managers, and staff. The conference program includes extensive governance- and accountability-related sessions such as "Public Meetings & Executive Sessions," "Managing Relationships & Conflict with Fellow Board Members," and "New Board Members: From Recruitment to Onboarding," along with financial reporting, legislative summaries, caucus meetings, and board elections.
