Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE)

The Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) is a national nonprofit professional association that provides leadership to health education and health promotion professionals and organizes national conferences and summits (including an annual conference and advocacy/community-health summits) that serve public health educators and practitioners working on community and population health topics. While SOPHE clearly runs national conferences and summits relevant to community health and population health, the evidence shows it organizes national-level events for health education professionals rather than explicitly branded ‘county public health conferences’ solely for county health departments.
