SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit career and technical student organization that organizes the National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC), a major CTE conference focused on skilled trades, career pathways, work-based learning, and the SkillsUSA Championships. It hosts events like TECHSPO, SkillsUSA University, leadership training, and the SkillsUSA Championships where thousands of students compete across many skilled and leadership competitions, engaging industry partners and educators. SkillsUSA's mission centers on preparing students for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations and supports CTE through leadership, competitions, and employer engagement.
