North Carolina Public Health Association (NCPHA)

The NCPHA Fall Educational Conference gathers public health professionals at every level from students to mid-career professionals to retired experts from around the state to exchange information and create a healthier North Carolina through effective public health practice and engaged citizens. Attendees typically include local health directors, NC Department of Health and Human Services/Division of Public Health branch heads and section chiefs, and directors and program leaders of public health entities from across the state. The conference also attracts professionals in areas such as Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs, Applied Public Health Statistics, Community Health Planning and Policy Development, Communicable Disease/Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Food and Nutrition, Health Administration, Information Technology, Medical Care, Oral Health, Maternal and Child Health, Public Health Education and Health Promotion, Public Health Nursing, Public Health Social Work, and Public Health Laboratories.
