About
About North Carolina Library Association
The NCLA Leadership Institute (September 28–October 1, 2026) is a year-long flagship leadership development program run by the North Carolina Library Association (NCLA). It is a four-day residential leadership training held at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC, targeted at North Carolina library staff (library leaders, directors, administrators, board-affiliated staff). The 2026 Institute planning committee and co-chairs (Melissa Kammerer and Rachel Olsen) are listed; contact email leadership@nclaonline.org. The program includes mentorship, a mid-year meeting, and concludes at the NCLA Biennial Conference in October 2027. This entity matches the user's intent for a library leadership & governance conference organizer.
