New York City Department of Education

The New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE) is the official government education agency that operates New York City public schools. It is a large city education authority and occasionally hosts or partners on city-run education and technology initiatives (professional learning, digital learning programs, and vendor partnerships) but is not primarily an EdTech conference organizer like commercial conference producers or professional associations (e.g., ISTE). It is relevant to the user intent as a government/education conference organizer contact or partner for EdTech events in NYC, though its primary role is district governance and service delivery.
