New Mexico Infrastructure Finance Conference

The New Mexico Infrastructure Finance Conference (NMIFC) is an annual statewide infrastructure conference focused on financing and delivery of capital projects. It is attended by local entities, including special districts, school districts, tribes, and private organizations. The conference is organized through a committee structure led by the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), specifically DFA’s Infrastructure Planning and Development Division (IPDD). The Steering Committee is chaired by a DFA representative and includes advisory members such as the New Mexico Association of Regional Councils, New Mexico Counties, and New Mexico Municipal League. The Proposal Review and Special Events Committee, also chaired by DFA’s IPDD, includes representatives from state agencies (Indian Affairs, Department of Transportation, Environment, NM Finance Authority) and private consulting firms, indicating its direct alignment with capital projects, project delivery, and infrastructure/CIP-focused audiences.
