The New Jersey Future Energy Systems Conference 2026 is a premier industry-driven forum bringing together leaders from industry, government, and academia to address the evolving challenges and opportunities in modern electric power and energy systems. Focused on advancing solutions for reliable, resilient, and sustainable energy systems in New Jersey and beyond, the conference covers key topics such as transmission expansion, grid-enhancing technologies (GETs), offshore wind integration, distributed energy resources (DERs), energy storage, and cyber-physical system security. It features keynote presentations, expert panels, and interactive discussions to foster engagement among utilities (PSEG, JCP&L, Atlantic City Electric, Orange & Rockland), system operators, technology providers, policymakers (PJM, NJBPU, NJEDA), and researchers. Objectives include unifying power industry stakeholders, positioning New Jersey as a key player in power and energy research, promoting an industry-driven approach with academic support, and enabling research publication in IEEE Xplore. The conference will also include a dedicated poster session for student research and an exhibition/career fair.
